James Gucciardo,
Director & Cinematographer

An internationally acclaimed Cinematographer, Jim has shot several feature films, hundreds of TV commercials and music videos as well as episodic TV shows.

Jim was literally our first choice, after the screening of dozens of top directors and cinematographers, for the job of helming the camera for this uniquely demanding shoot. Once you've read our script and gotten a feel for how the music flows throughout, you'll understand why we were elated to have him join us when we saw these terrific examples of his work in particular:

Time Elevator

Of course, there are many, many more excellent samples of his work at his own website.

Philip de Souza,
Founding Writer & Producer

"Art is individualism, and individualism is a disturbing and disintegrating force. There lies its immense value. For what it seeks is to disturb monotony of type, slavery of custom, tyranny of habit, and the reduction of man to the level of a machine." ~ Oscar Wilde, 'The Soul of a Man Under Socialism'

From a family of journalists-turned-producers, and raised in northern Virginia, Philip spent a total of eight years in the formal study of English and the arts, first with Drama & Theatre Arts at University of London (Goldsmiths), followed by formal actor training at Drama Centre, London, from where he then landed a role in an award winning mini series in the UK. While he's had the honor of being involved in several commercial and theatrical productions since then, he doesn't carry anywhere near the kind of behind-the-camera experience like his team-members do, which is why he sought-out their expertise to begin with!

A simple man with a taste for honesty and fair play, Philip divides his time between his craft and his job as a Customer Relationship Management Consultant, and systems/network/database administrator for an IT consultancy firm in Los Angeles, plus this very passion which you see before you here.
